Multiscan Technologies and WECO, both members of Duravant’s Food Sorting and Handling Solutions group, announce they have entered into a strategic partnership to support produce growers, processors, packers and re-packers throughout Europe, the Middle East and North Africa. In this region, Multiscan and WECO have integrated their product portfolios as well as sales and service organizations to offer customers improved access to their world-class optical sorters, graders and other vision inspection systems.
In EMEA, Multiscan is now leading sales, leasing and support for the integrated Multiscan and WECO product portfolio. Earlier this year, the companies began partnering similarly under WECO’s leadership in North America.
WECO’s grading and process monitoring solutions integrate with Multiscan’s advanced vision inspection technology for a broad range of product applications including blueberries, tree nuts, wine grapes and more. The combined power of Multiscan and WECO automation allows growers, processors, packers and re-packers of produce to better manage product quality, improve yield, increase line capacity and reduce labor.
“Bringing Multiscan and WECO together in the EMEA region is great news for our customers. With a wide variety of automation solutions available from a single supply source, we’re delivering turnkey systems that fulfill each customer’s needs, considering their product grading objectives, line layout and throughput requirements,” said Jack Lee, Duravant Group President – Food Sorting and Handling Solutions. “Plus, we’re providing industry-leading support and quick response times to maximize our customers’ equipment performance, uptime and profitability.”
Multiscan and WECO will exhibit together at Fruit Attraction, Stand 10B21 – Pavilion 10 in Madrid on October 3-5, 2023.
